Abstract

This article focuses on the facial sculpting protocol and talking points for developing trust with clients as a licensed professional. It also guides the esthetician through the facial service, some business practices regarding the pricing structure, and how to lead clients through the sales journey from service to homecare. By offering our innovative facial sculpting services, you can attract new clients, increase customer loyalty, and boost your revenue.

Step 1: Prepare the client for facial service

Makeup Removal and Cleansing: Use your regular facial protocol for a double cleanse.

Step 2: Exfoliation

Utilize our Ultrasonic Facial Cleanser for exfoliation and extraction. It’s a seamless way to incorporate facial devices into your service while minimizing abrasion on your skin and fingers. Using the device for the first time can be intimidating. We understand. We're here to guide you every step of the way!

Step 3: Sculpting Massage with our RED device

CLEAN Setting: Apply water to your client’s face with a sponge, or if you want to go fancy, use a mister with some rose water. THEY LOVE THIS SPECIAL TOUCH!!! Turn on your machine, and this starts the clean session with a green light. Start at the decolletage and move upwards like you would spread product during your cleanse phase. The device will beep at the halfway point. Add more water if necessary.

This setting warms your client’s skin and opens their pores, preparing them for the following settings. It calms and relaxes them, preparing them for service. The skin opens, ready to receive nutrients.

PENETRATION: The light is red on the device and still warms while adding light electricity to tone the face. Apply our Aloe Vera Collagen Gel to the face or device and spread it in massage movements, starting at the decolletage and moving up to the forehead. This is when we focus on absorbing the product into the skin. EMS and RED LED lights target the base layer of the skin to wake it up. We want to promote cellular growth and turnover. This is how you get the skin to glow. Growing skin is glowing skin. Our gel contains epidermal growth factors derived from rice to help skin grow at the base layer.

Dehydrated clients will soak this fast! Apply more gel as needed.

Talking Points: “I’m applying moisturizing gel on your skin and helping it penetrate deep into the base layer. We stimulate your skin to grow at the base, promoting cellular renewal and turnover. Getting your skin to grow and glow!

LIFT: This setting applies to EMS, Ultrasonic, and Red LED lights. It tones and lifts by synthesizing energy into the muscle under the skin to help hold it up. Make massage movements up the neck and face like in your massage routines. Clients will feel heat and light tingling in their muscles. The ultrasonic in this setting breaks down fat cells and releases glycerol into the skin for hydration while fat cells are drained through lymphatic drainage. Movements towards the lumps behind the ears are ideal.

Focus on the low-light areas of the face: the hollows of the cheeks, temples, and round of the forehead, under the chin and jaw, and up the neck towards the ears.

Talking Points: “I’m using red light to target dark spots. You’ll feel a tingling of electricity to help build muscle to lift the skin on your face. EMS is the only electrical current that can build muscle.”

BEAUTY: This setting helps with elastin and collagen production, so focus on areas you would highlight when you apply makeup.

Incorporate our water-based serums in this setting. We have Rose for mature skin needing hydration and a collagen boost and Copper for irritated skin needing healing. Apply a few drops of serum to targeted areas and apply more as needed.

Make circular movements on the high points of the cheeks, the chin, around the lips, and on the forehead between the eyebrows. Remember to focus on the jaw where the face falls into the neck. Make up-and-down zig-zag movements on the forehead.

EYE: This setting has gentle EMS and ultrasonic waves for the sensitive eye area. Start at the inner eye and move toward the temple with slow, long movements. Move from above the eyebrows toward the temples. The device will beep at the halfway point; focus on the other eye.

COOL: This setting uses cool current and blue light. It calms the client and indicates that the session is closing. After cleansing and moisturizing, the pores are closed to seal all the moisture. Blue LED lights reduce inflammation, fight acne, and promote healing. They are also antibacterial and soothe the skin.

Move upward from the decolletage towards the forehead and temples. Feather off.

Talking Point: “You’ll feel a cool sensation on your skin as we close up your pores. We cleaned, moisturized, and nourished your skin; now it’s time to seal everything in.

We started with cleaning your skin. Then moisturize while treating dark spots with red LED lights.

We gave your skin nutrients and growth factors from the base layer to grow your muscle and skin.

As we age, we lose muscle, which causes sagging skin. A sculpting facial promotes muscle growth, lifting the skin and preventing premature sagging.

We stimulated collagen and elastin production on your skin to give you a toned look and enhance the cushion that makes your skin look youthful.”

Step 4: Masking

Apply our Gold Bio Collagen Face Mask for 10-20 minutes.

***Upsell radio frequency hair treatment for the scalp or body toning. Use our Gold device to treat “bingo arms.” The underside of the arms loses muscle tone and makes skin look saggy as we age.

Step 5: Apply sun protection

Step 6: Recommended products and subsequent sessions.

While your client gets dressed, prepare your recommended products. Show your clients the Aloe Vera Collagen Gel and recommended serum. Remind them that everyone needs water; this product is designed to hydrate all skin types. It’s intended as a complete meal for the skin with water, collagen, amino acids, and vitamins.

Talking Point: “You need to use this as your base layer morning and night to hydrate your skin. It’s formulated to soak deep into your skin, paving the way for other products to penetrate deep into your skin.

Customize their experience with a Rose Serum for collagen promotion, which everyone can benefit from. If their skin is sensitive, dry, or acne-prone, recommend the Copper because it’s healing and soothing. Place the serum into their hand.

Talking Point: “This is the customized treatment I used on you for (collagen production and dark spot reduction/Soothing irritated skin). Use this every morning and night after the Aloe Vera Collagen Gel.”

Talking Point: “I’d recommend that you come every week for the next five to seven weeks for optimal results and once a month after that for maintenance.”
