RESET YOUR MINDSET FOR NEW BEGINNINGS

HAVE YOU EVER FELT LIKE EVERYTHING YOU DO IS WRONG?

If you had one of those weeks where you feel you’re not good enough? I’m with you. You prepared, practiced, and tried your best, but you didn’t get the promotion, someone complained, and your boss spotted a mistake. You can’t help but feel like you failed and let them down.

What do you do? You reset your thinking. This is not a sign of defeat but a powerful act of self-empowerment. It's about turning around and looking at yourself. Did you try your best? The results are not up to you and are out of your control. What is within your control is your efforts and mindset. This shift in perspective can be the beginning of a powerful transformation.

A year ago today, my face was breaking out, and I didn’t know what had happened. All of a sudden—I had teenage acne. I've been religious about my skincare routine for almost thirty years. I’m so OCD about it that I got an esthetician license. I kept asking why this was happening, made minor changes, and waited for the results until it finally worked. I went back to basic…ME.

Today, I confidently go to work with bare skin. My skin glows, and I receive compliments on dates even when I'm not wearing makeup. This journey of self-discovery, navigating through the challenges of teenage acne, not only improved my skin but also gave me the confidence I needed. It was the push I needed to try one more time despite the opposition, leading me to the holy grail of skincare. This journey can be yours, too, leading to a newfound confidence and self-assurance.

As you begin your weekend, I urge you to reset your mindset and prioritize self-reflection. Take a moment to ask yourself, “Why do I do what I do? What are my motivations and goals? How can I find my inner peace?” Have the courage to prioritize your thoughts over others' opinions. Do things for others not because you seek validation but because it makes you feel yourself. Their criticism can not stick with you.
